The Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association, Inc. (TSA) is proud to be able to offer scholarships to employees and their children throughout the state of Tennessee.

The TSA issues a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 per recipient each fall. The amount we are able to issue greatly depends on the donations and continued support of all our members.
 

The application period opens the first week of January and closes the last day of February each year.

If you are interested and are an employee of a Tennessee Sheriff’s Office or a child of one, please click "Apply Online Now" below, or if you prefer the paper method, please choose the "Download Paper Application Here" option.

Once the application period closes, TSA staff work hard to compile the data and sort through those that meet and do not meet the criteria, then all applicants are presented to the TSA’s Scholarship Committee. This committee then considers each application and decides who to recommend to the TSA Board of Directors to become a recipient. The Board of Directors then makes the final approval.
